MIM-440C (HIP and heat treated)

MIM 440C is a martensitic stainless steel. The properties of this alloy include excellent strength, hardness and wear resistance. This stainless steel alloy is often used in applications where high strength, hardness, wear resistance, and some corrosion resistance is required, such as automotive, power hand tools, pumps, and sporting equipment.
