MIM-4605 (quenched and tempered, low hardness)

MIM 4605 (quench and tempered, low hardness) is a low alloy steel with compositions including carbon, nickel, and molybdenum. A quench and temper heat treatment is a process that offers various strength and wear resistance properties, while the high hardness indicates the final hardness that is achieved through the process. Typical values of hardness for this alloy are 36HRC. It can be plated or coated for corrosion resistance.
